Group presentations
Hello there! I hope you've had a wonderful weekend. Last week, we started with group presentations of topics like: basic grammar, vocabulary, advanced pronunciation and listening comprehension.
1. Basic grammar or for beginners:
We did a simple task that consisted of creating a sentence with different words. In my case, I got the word "write" and did my sentence with the past tense "wrote"; I wrote a letter to my mom.
2. Vocabulary:
House things! This exercise was guessing how you named things that you can find at home. For example, the kitchen, a pan, windows, etc.
3. Advanced pronunciation:
So we designed a pretty cool activity, but unfortunately, the electricity went off and we couldn't finish it. Anyway, we did a lottery game from scratch with homographs and homophones words. They are super hard to identify that's why we gave a context sentence for them to understand. Now they all know how to pronounce correctly these words!!!
4. Advanced listening comprehension:
In this case, our classmates showed us a video from an interview with two guys with strong accent. Then, they played a song and asked us a few questions :)
