 Hi everyone! so this week our students are heading the classes :) let's see what they have to offer!

1. Verbal-Linguistic Intelligence - Regina's group


This type of intelligence has to do with the ability to understand written and spoken language. Some characteristics are:good memory, persuasion, passion for languages, speaking skills, and good at listening to others.

Most likely careers: lawer, comedian, author (writing), and teacher.

On the other hand, there are many activities you can do to improve and/or develop your education. For instance, listening to podcasts can be really useful to understand or learn new things and enhance your vocabulary. Also, doing exercises like writing letters, stories or doing public speaking & presentations, debates and foros are great to develop your verbal and linguistic skills.

2. Logical/mathematical intelligence - Fatima's group

Mathematical Logic, howard Gardner, classmate, emf, wmf, logic, Intelligence, Author, Mathematics, teacher | Anyrgb

People have great skills to easily understand and analize maths concepts. For example, they are good with numbers, logical concepts, operations, and enjoy experiments, puzzles and mystery games.

Activities: Boardgames, questions & answers, cards, stories, puzzles.

3. Musical intelligence - My group lol

It's the ability to learn, compose, perform and appreciate musical patterns. People with Musical Intelligence can learn thru music, remember a variety of musical sounds and recognize musical styles. They also collect music and express their feelings or ideas with it.

People learn thru listening.They concentrate on using spoken content in their daily life. Students have good auditory memory. Students may like to have background music while working or studying on projects. These people also enjoy musical games; they could want to add music to presentations.

 

Activity: guess the song and find the elements (phrasal verbs, slangs, etc.)

4. Visual Spatial Intelligence

It's the artistic ability to form a mental model to play with it. Association to create things and accomodate them. Famous people with this intelligence: Leonardo da Vinci & Patricia Urquiola.
 
Characteristics: mental maps, activities related to visual arts, painting, drawing and sculpture, and play memory games.
 
In what are into this people?

- Photography courses, design clasess, built legos, puzzles, blocks, diagrams, drawing, paintings, handmade craft, feelings and emotions.
     
Jobs: Graphic designer, architect, photographer.
 
Activities: Pictionary, form figures.

THE SILENT WAY METHOD

I found out that your birthday was last week 👀 so I hope you've had an amazing day; sending my best wishes for ya!💗 So in this past week, we learned a new method:  The Silent Way Method Gabeb Gattegno, who was an Egyptian mathematician and educator, founded The Silent Way in 1970. It is based on three main points: discovery, problem-solving in TL and uses of physical tools. Principles: 1. Teachers should concentrate on how students learn, not on how to teach. 2. Imitation and drill are not the primary means by which students learn. 3. Learning consists of trial and error, deliberate experimentation, suspending judgement, and revising conclusions. 4.
