DIRECT METHOD

The Direct Method.


It comes from Germany and France (1990). This method is also known by the name of natural method since it emulates the natural way of learning. You learn by immersion, speaking and replying in the target language; hence, pronunciation is key because of the spontaneous use of the language. In addition, you learn useful and purposed vocabulary.

Why is it important?

It creates fluent speakers who will speak rather than translate.

:) Hi everyone! This week we studied a new learning style model ;) The Kolb's learning style!!!   It was proposed by David Kolb in the 1970s; and it's based on the idea that learning is a cyclical process that involves four stages: experiencing, reflecting, thinking, and acting. According to Kolb, people may have preferences for certain stages of this cycle, resulting in four distinct learning styles: Diverging (CE/RO) : Prefer experiencing and reflecting. They're imaginative and like exploring different angles. Assimilating (AC/RO) : Enjoy thinking and reflecting. They analyze information and organize it into theories.       hi there, how is it been? well, today i'll be sharing with you some facts about the topic "Describing Teachers"   As we know, teachers play a crucial role because they teach, guide, inspire, and help students grow. They encourage thinking, build relationships, and prepare students for the future. In other words, they shape the future generations.  So, let me share some aspects that are taken into account when describing teachers: 1. Teacher's role in the classroom: Controller; leading from the front; prompter, when students forget something, such as the instructions of a task, the teacher is there to remind them; participant, taking an active role; resource, when students ask the teacher’s help; and tutor, when giving feedback about a large project. 2.
